Evidence

Visit 'all phases' or click on the relevant phase below to find witness statements and oral evidence (videos and transcripts). Content will usually be available within 24 hours of an evidence session taking place.

Thanks to the work of Matthew Somerville, searchable transcripts of the Inquiry's public hearings are also available on his website here, containing links to relevant evidence published by the Inquiry. While it is updated with information published on the Inquiry’s own website, the Inquiry is not responsible for the maintenance of and/or any wider content published at postofficeinquiry.dracos.co.uk.

Exhibits contained within written statements/expert reports as well as any additional documents referenced during hearings will be published on the Inquiry's website as soon as practicable at the end of all hearings. The Inquiry will only be able to consider requests of a particularly urgent nature for these to be published sooner, and only after a document has been displayed during public hearings.

Wellbeing

Some of the evidence published here may contain content which people may find distressing. The wellbeing of people participating in the Inquiry is extremely important to the Inquiry.

In the context of the Inquiry's processes, free, confidential, emotional and psychological support services are available from PAM Wellness, for witnesses, their supporters and participants in the Inquiry. For advice on coping with traumatic events, or information on how to access these services please see here.
