In Your Own Words Papers

In Your Own Words is the Inquiry’s anonymous listening project, which aims to gather the experiences of those who were impacted by the Horizon scandal, outside of the Inquiry's proceedings.

This project is sharing the insights it has learned from the anonymous testimonies through a series of papers, each focusing on a particular aspect of the scandal.

Guided by the submissions we receive, we have chosen a set of different themes that our papers will explore in detail, to reflect the experiences shared with us.

By putting real-life stories at the centre, these papers aim to highlight the multitude of ways people were affected by the scandal, and the ripple effects this has had on communities and families.

So far, we have published accounts exploring how families and relationships, as well as people's health have been impacted by the scandal.
